The Cleveland Browns are members of the AFC North. After the original Browns left Cleveland for Baltimore, the city of Cleveland decided to build a new stadium on the site of the old Municipal Stadium. The dispute between Art Modell and Cleveland is well known and resulted in the Cleveland Browns moving to Baltimore to become the Ravens. Cleveland demolished the old stadium and built an ultramodern stadium that houses 72,300 fans. HOK designed the stadium to provide touches that reflected on the history of the Browns. The east end zone houses 10,000 bleacher seats that is the home of the Dawg Pound. There are notches built into the stadium that provides glimpse into the stadium as well as views of the city from inside the stadium.
Like most new stadiums Cleveland Browns Stadium boasts tremendous video displays and audio systems that enhance the game experience for fans and players both. The Cleveland Brown’s Hall of Fame, team store and bars and grilles are features that fans find worth visiting when coming to the stadium.
